I hope you can find everything you need. Partners In Birth is focused on providing high-qualityand compassionate support, information, and encouragement throughout Pregnancy, Birth, and Postpartum.
Studies have shown when a woman is supported by people who believe in her, care for her, and respect her choices, she is more likely to feel satisfied and empowered by her birth experience. My role as your Doula is to provide evidence based information to help you make informed choices, effective physical comfort measures, and emotional support and encouragement while respecting and protecting your choices and privacy.
It is NOT my role to take the place of or intrude on the role of your partner, family members, or your chosen Primary Care Provider for your birth.
My sincere belief is that every woman who is interested in having a doula should have access to affordable support from a doula with whom she feels comfortable, regarless of the birthing woman's age, financial status, or family or marital status.
As a Certified Lactation Counselor, I also offer breastfeeding education, counseling, and support to women who have an interest in breastfeeding.
